GOL Linhas Aéreas announced that it has scheduled 1,096 flights throughout July 2024 on its international air network. Of these, 247 are new operations planned exclusively for the referred period, to take advantage of the high demand of the winter high season.
The company reported the addition of 46,200 new seats in the holiday month, which will represent an increase of 36% compared to June 2024, which is low season. In total, adding the international and domestic networks, the company’s total capacity increased by 26.5% between these two months.
As planned, the company will fly daily to Bogota from Buenos Aires and São Paulo. It will also see an increase from 2 to 4 flights per week to Punta Cana from Guarulhos, which is then reduced to 3 flights per week from September, according to a press release.
GOL currently serves 12 international destinations of its own in countries in the Americas, such as Colombia, United States, Argentina, Uruguay, Dominican Republic, among others.
In partnership with 9 other major airlines, GOL extends its presence to 216 destinations in 50 countries around the world. Sales are made through GOL’s own channels and flights are operated by the company or by partner airlines.
