Congress held: “The Power of Women in Ibero-American Tourism”

The Soy Caribe Premium Magazine, Probusiness Place and Casa da América Latina, announce the congress “The Power of Women in Ibero-American Tourism”, which will take place on March 17, at 5:00 p.m. (Spain), through the platform Zoom.

Registration is free and is done through soycaribepremium.es and is aimed at professionals in the sector, managers, associations, businessmen, operators and travel agents, journalists, travelers and the public interested in tourism management.

“The congress will allow to have a global vision in the management of tourism from the perspective of female leadership and to know the trends that will dominate the different sectors, thanks to the experiences of our invited panelists who are working from Spain, Portugal, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica , Colombia, Panama and the Netherlands ”, explained Crismeidy Ureña, general organizer of the Congress.

The congress will have the participation of the Secretary of State for Tourism of Portugal, Rita Marques; the ambassador of Costa Rica in Spain; Ana Helena Chacón and Sandra Carvão, Head of Market Intelligence and Competitiveness, at the World Tourism Organization, will analyze the leadership of women in the Tourism sector.

On her side, Chiara Pennacchio, Director of Global Marketing at Ron Barceló, Ximena Botero, Director of Innovation and Synergies at Procolombia; Carolina Castañeda, director of the Federation of Colombian Coffee Producers and Larissa Arjona, director of International Marketing of Ron Abuelo, will share the importance of country brand companies and products, in the projection of countries, as tourist destinations.

While, Lydia Pérez, Director of Marketing and Communication of the Cool Rooms hotel chain; Deyanira Pappaterra, general director of the Tourism Business of Banreservas; Margarida Almeida; Founding CEO of Amazing Evolution Management, they will convey their vision, strategies and post-pandemic hotel development.

In addition to these 3 panels, the event will also include a reflection entitled: The role of the hotelier woman in the 21st century. Led by Rebeca Avila, vp Communication & Corporate Social Responsibility Europa Sur Accor.

This congress will be moderated by professionals: Lara Guerrero, president of the MG Public Relations Agency; Arancha de las Heras, president of the Distance University of Madrid, UDIMA; Francisco Javier Iniesto, Member of the Board of Probusiness Place and Ricardo Santos, journalist specialized in Tourism.
