The airline Arajet announced that in the coming weeks it will inaugurate a route from the Cibao International Airport, in the Dominican Republic, to Bogota, capital of Colombia.
The announcement was made by the company’s president, Víctor Pacheco, during the 42nd version of the Anato International Tourism Showcase 2023, which is being held from today until Friday in Bogota, with the Dominican Republic as guest of honor.
The businessman informed that in its beginnings they will be operating two weekly flights.
Pacheco said that very soon they will reveal the details about the new frequencies and the diversification of Arajet’s operation to the Cibao International Airport.
He assured that one of the fundamental objectives of the airline is to support the projection of the country to attract more tourists.
José Clase, vice-president of the Cibao International Airport, assured that the company will have all the facilities in the terminal and the support of the city of Santiago to achieve the success of this operation.
Santiago as a tourist destination

Anato is one of the most important tourism fairs in Latin America where dozens of countries and hundreds of travel agencies, wholesalers and tour operators meet.
