The National Meteorological Office (Onamet), reported that for Wednesday the weather over the Dominican Republic will continue to be influenced by the anticyclonic system, so that significant rainfall in much of the country will be scarce.
However, the wind will continue to bring light values of humidity over localities in the northeast, southeast and Central Cordillera regions, where occasional cloudy increases will occur with showers mostly weak and passing, but which could be moderate at times.
The weather agency forecast for Thursday, that the meteorological environment will not present significant changes, the humidity values will persist minimum over most of the national territory, in this sense, a sky between clear to scattered clouds and sunshine will prevail, with few significant rains.
However, the wind will persist dragging light concentrations of humidity that will cause cloudy increases with local showers over points of the northeast, southeast and Central Cordillera.
On Friday, the proximity of a trough at various levels of the troposphere near the wind channel, will be slightly increasing the humidity and instability values over the northwest, southwest, points of the border area and the Central Cordillera, therefore, the occurrence of clouds with local downpours is forecast; for the rest of the regions, good weather conditions are expected to prevail, due to the anticyclonic system.
