This week-end: Tropical wave over the country

Tomorrow, Saturday, the trough will persist at high altitude that when joining with the effects of the wind from the east / southeast, will favor to continue producing clouds accompanied by local downpours with thunderstorms and occasional wind gusts, mainly towards the northwest, northeast, Central Cordillera and the northern part of the border area.

Hurricane Larry, was located about 660 kilometers north/northeast of Bermuda Island with maximum sustained winds of 140 km/h and is moving toward the north/northwest at 43 km/h. This system does not represent any danger for the country.

Tropical Depression Mindy is located about 440 kilometers east/southeast of Charleston Carolina with maximum sustained winds of 55 km/h and is moving toward the east/northeast at 46 km/k. This system does not represent any danger for the country.

Temperatures will remain hot as a result of the time of the year, therefore, the population is advised to drink enough fluids and avoid exposure to the sun for prolonged periods from 11:00 am to 04:00 pm.
