For today we forecast a decrease in rainfall over most of the country, however, some moisture associated with a tropical wave to the southeast of the country will be combined with local effects to cause in the afternoon some showers with isolated thunderstorms towards the northeast, the Central Cordillera and some points of Greater Santo Domingo.
Tomorrow, Sunday, the tropical wave will have left our forecast area, giving way to conditions dominated by an air mass with reduced humidity content associated with Saharan dust particles, which will significantly reduce rainfall, allowing optimal conditions for outdoor activities. Precipitation will be weak and isolated towards focal points of the Central Mountain Range.
Hot temperatures during the day with values between 32ºC and 34ºC, due to the time of year (summer), and the warm wind from the east, so we recommend the population not to expose themselves to solar radiation for prolonged periods, wear light clothing preferably light colors and drink enough fluids.
