Atmospheric conditions over the Dominican Republic are being dominated by a less humid and stable air mass, which will favor scarce precipitation, therefore, a sky with a mixture of clouds and sunshine will prevail over most of the country. Meanwhile, in some localities of the northeast and the Central Mountain Range, weak and passing showers are expected, due to local effects (diurnal warming and orography). As for the coasts, it is recommended to navigate near the coastal perimeter without venturing offshore due to abnormal swell, from Cabo Engaño to Miches.
Tomorrow, Sunday, the anticyclonic circulation located in the middle levels of the troposphere will move closer to the national territory, which will continue to inhibit significant rainfall, giving way to prevailing good weather conditions, showing a mostly sunny sky with scattered clouds. Only slight increases in clouds with isolated showers are expected due to the drag of the wind towards the east and northeast.
On Monday, the beginning of a new work week, a weak trough will be approaching the eastern part of the country, therefore, over towns in the east, northeast and the Central Cordillera, some weak to moderate showers will be generated. However, for the rest of the country, the sky will be slightly cloudy with many hours of sunshine, since we will also be under the influence of the anticyclonic circulation in the middle levels of the troposphere and an environment with low humidity content.
National District: Mixed cloudy and sunny skies.
Santo Domingo North: Mixed cloudy and sunny skies.
Santo Domingo West: Mixed cloudy and sunny skies.
Santo Domingo East: Mixed clouds and sun.
Greater Santo Domingo: Maximum temperature between 29°C and 31°C, minimum between 20°C and 22°C.
Summary
