El Prat Airport witnessed the landing of a Ukrainian Antonov AN-124 on March 25, as reported by Aeroinfo Barcelona-El Prat through its X account.
The aircraft landed in Barcelona at around 06:40 local time from Portsmouth, NH (USA) for the transfer of one of the yachts that will participate in the America’s Cup 2024, one of the most prestigious maritime competitions in the world.
The last time this model landed at El Prat was on April 28, 2020, coming from Moscow-Zhukovski, for the transport of medical material due to the pandemic.
