Cap Cana welcomes Christmas with its traditional ‘Christmas Boat Parade’

Cap Cana, as is now a tradition, held its customary Christmas Boat Parade, which kicked off the brightest and most joyful time of the year, Christmas.

The Christmas Boat Parade, an original and exclusive event of its kind, is held the first week of December, where the most creative boats are enthusiastically rewarded and encouraged to continue displaying all the Christmas spirit in the families of the country and Cap Cana.

In addition, it is an event that invites you to fully enjoy a parade of Christmas boats in a festive atmosphere, where creativity overflows and ingenuity is embodied in boats, concerts, food, fun and various activities, and where the rockettes, soldiers, Santa Claus and many more characters make their triumphal entry.

On this occasion, the night was illuminated and concluded with a grandiose spectacle of lights and drones that formed in the sky, images alluding to Christmas, closing with the name of the Destination City of Cap Cana and its seal of identity.

The traditional event is held every year in the north marina of Cap Cana from where you can see the entire parade of boats, combined with dance activities that occur simultaneously safely, in a unique festival in the Dominican Republic.

Annually more than 3 thousand people enjoy this function, including foreigners who come to the country to see it personally. Also the entire community and the Heritage School join in with shows of the school children singing and dancing Christmas carols, and the destination’s restaurants participate with food and beverage sales.
