Marriott to open first St. Regis branded property in the DR

The St. Regis Cap Cana will have 200 hotel rooms and 70 luxury residences for extended stays.

One of the most luxurious brands in Marriott’s portfolio has announced its arrival in the Dominican Republic. St. Regis, the brand specializing in luxury long-stay residences, is coming to the Caribbean country’s most premium destination, Cap Cana, near Punta Cana.

St. Regis hotels are known for offering a variety of luxury accommodation options, including rooms, suites and private villas. In this case, the St. Regis Cap Cana will have 200 hotel rooms and 70 residences, so Marriott is also promoting real estate tourism. Each of the residences is valued at between one million and 20 million dollars (between 900,000 and 18 million euros).

Likewise, St. Regis Cap Cana is surrounded by the natural beauty that characterizes the destination city of Cap Cana, with its beaches, its varied vegetation, as well as recreational parks, an equestrian city and a marina with more than 130 docks that can accommodate yachts of up to 45 meters in length, and a world-class golf course.

“Luxury hotel chains, such as Marriott International’s St. Regis, have earned a worldwide reputation for delivering exceptional lodging experiences and the case of St. Regis Cap Cana is absolute proof of the confidence in the country, in Cap Cana and in its developers and promoters. Investing in this location is a highly secure and promising option, with a diversity of opportunities for investors,” said Don Dino Campagna, co-founder of St. Regis Cap Cana.

Marriott plans to complete construction of the St. Regis Cap Cana during the first quarter of 2024 and open immediately. Currently, since its launch was announced, the St. Regis Cap Cana has reached 50% of sales. Among its future residents, the professional golfer from Malaga, Spain, Miguel Angel Jimenez, stands out.
