The Dominican Association of Tourist Press (Adompretur) and Club Paraíso Inc. signed a cooperation agreement with the objective of incorporating the membership of the journalistic guild in a recreational, sports and cultural space for family and individual enjoyment.
The signing of the agreement, which is valid for two years, offers Adompretur associates the opportunity to opt for the Corporate membership of Club Paraíso, was represented by its president Solángel Román; by Yenny Polanco Lovera and José Alberto Selmo, president and director of Institutional Relations of Adompretur, respectively.

Lovera expressed that for Adompretur it is a cause for celebration to be part of the prestigious Club Paraíso “because our members will have the opportunity to meet not only to work, but also to enjoy with their families, friends and colleagues”.
“Having a productive and dynamic guild that can enjoy leisure is important. That is why our board of directors set out to make this approach with Club Paraíso a reality, where we will be able to celebrate birthdays, get-togethers, and play sports. Recreation allows us to be in harmony with ourselves and with others; that is what we want for the Adompretur family”, he added.
He added “that for our board of directors it is a source of joy to sign this agreement that seeks our wellbeing and integration. Our membership in Santo Domingo knows its facilities because in January we celebrate the beginning of the year party”.

Meanwhile, Selmo said that the signing of the agreement responds “to a strategy of our management in the current management 2023-2025, which has the clear objective of highlighting the human value of our members, journalists and communicators who work covering in different parts of the country, we deserve to enjoy and have a space where we can safely distract ourselves, with family, with friends.”
“Through this inter-institutional agreement that we signed, each active member of Adompretur at the national and international level can formalize their registration by sending an email to our office, which will be in charge of sending the list to Club Paraíso. Then, our members will receive their membership card so that they can enjoy all the benefits of the Club with their families, friends and relatives”, he said.
In that sense, he explained that some of the terms of the agreement state that Adompretur members will have access to basketball, volleyball, tennis, children’s areas, the El Edén restaurant, food and beverage services, piano bar, swimming pool. In addition, Club Paraíso will provide the facilities of its facilities for the social activities programmed by the board of directors.

“Each member of Adompretur will have these benefits, and will also be able to participate in the quality events that Club Paraíso always organizes”, added Selmo.
On his side, Román indicated that for Club Paraíso to receive an institution of journalists like Adompretur is a source of great pride. “For several decades this has been a recreational space that offers a healthy environment in the center of Santo Domingo.”
“Our Club, located at 1 Francisco Carias Lavandier Street, is a recreational, sports and cultural space that has excellent facilities and constantly carries out activities for its members and for the members of Adompretur, whom we will receive with great joy,” he said.
