Mitur invests US$5,093 million in tourist attractions

Only 16 projects have been completed for US$765 million.

The Ministry of Tourism indicated that it is investing US$5,093 million in 53 projects distributed nationwide.

This was announced by the Minister of Tourism, David Collado, during the presentation of results for June 2023.

However, only 16 projects have been completed for an amount of US$765 million, compared to the 37 under construction with an investment of US$4,328 million.

The official explained that 12 projects are road projects, seven on the seawall, three beaches, four parks, two buildings and one religious building. The remaining is remotely of museums, ambience and monuments.
