President Luis Abinader received this Friday, at the National Palace, the courtesy visit of the President of the Supreme Court of Justice, Luis Henry Molina, together with four judges from the United States and Panama, in the framework of the Judicial Power 2024 Conference.
The commission of judges, which was received by the President in his private office at the National Palace, was composed of María Eugenia López Arias, Presiding Judge of the Panamanian Judicial Branch, and from the United States, Anna Blackburne-Rigsby, Presiding Judge of the Court of Appeals of the District of Columbia; Robert Rigsby, Judge of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, and John Morrisey, Presiding Judge of the District Court of Maryland.
The delegation also included Elizabeth Andersen, executive director of the World Justice Project (WJP) and Jeff Apperson, vice president of International Relations for the National Center for the State Courts.
