President Luis Abinader, together with Vice President Raquel Peña, is currently heading the first Council of Ministers and Directors of this year, at the National Palace, in which the budget execution for 2024 and its importance for the development of the DR will be discussed.
In this regard, the Minister of the Presidency, Joel Santos, informed before the Council began, that in this coordination meeting between the different institutions of the Government, in addition, a balance will be taken of the execution of 2023 and strategies will be outlined to be promoted during the first months of 2024, especially in this year which, he said, is key from the economic point of view for the country.
He also said that with this coordination of State agencies, President Abinader seeks to ensure that performance is as good as possible.
In the Council of Government Hall, all the ministers and general directors are with President Abinader.
