In continuity with the Government’s actions to strengthen the Citizen Security Plan, President Luis Abinader heads the meeting held every Monday at the National Police Palace.
At the meeting, which began after 10:00 a.m. in the Officers’ Club Room of the Police Palace, the assigned tasks, achievements and measures to continue strengthening security in the country are evaluated.
In the company of President Abinader, are present the Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Carlos Luciano Díaz Morfa; the Minister of the Presidency, Joel Santos Echavarría, and the Minister of Interior and Police, Jesús Vásquez Martínez; the Director General of the National Police, Major General Eduardo Alberto Then; the general commander of the Dominican Republic Army, Major General Carlos Antonio Fernández Onofre; the commander of the Dominican Republic Navy, Vice Admiral Agustín Alberto Morillo Rodríguez, together with General Julio César Betances Hernández, deputy chief of the PN, and the president of the National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD), Vice Admiral José Manuel Cabrera Ulloa.
Also, the head of the General Directorate of Transit Security and Land Transportation (Digesett), general Ramon Antonio Guzman Peralta; of the Tourism Police (Politur), general Minoru Matsunaga, and the executive director of the National System of Emergency Attention and Security 9-1-1, pilot colonel Randolfo Rijo Gomez.
Also, the deputy prosecutor and head of the Public Prosecutor’s Office, Yeni Berenice Reynoso, and a commission of prosecutors made up of Rosalba Ramos from the National District, Osvaldo Bonilla from Santiago, Suleika Mateo from San Pedro de Macorís; of Monte Cristi, Grimaldi Oviedo; of Dajabón, Yeisi Alcántara; of La Romana, Kevin Santana; of Santo Domingo Oeste, Eduard López; of Peravia, Ángel Darío Tejeda; of La Vega, Aura Luz García; of Puerto Plata, Kelmi Duncan, and of San Cristóbal, Fadulia Rosa.
