Abinader and Collado headline opening of Hilton Garden Inn in La Romana

The President of the Republic, Luis Abinader and the Minister of Tourism, David Collado, headed the inauguration of the first Hilton Inn hotel in the Dominican Republic, its main shareholder being the former Major League Baseball player, Edwin Encarnación.

A luxurious hotel with 130 rooms, most of them overlooking the sea and Catalina Island, with an investment of US$25 million, which was built on a 5,000 M2 lot.

The complex has a swimming pool, event rooms, outdoor areas, all ideal for all types of celebrations such as social and corporate events, as well as two bars and a restaurant.

The hotel also offers a shuttle service for guests to Catalina Island in approximately 10 minutes.

The ribbon cutting event was attended by the hotel’s investors, Riverhome Capital S.A.S. and its main shareholder Edwin Encarnaciòn, and Hilton executives, including Jorge Giannattasio, and Alan Roberts, leader of the Hilton Garden Inn brand.
