Grupo Piñero continues to strengthen its lodging portfolio in the DR, as it recently reopened its Bahia Principe Luxury Esmeralda hotel, totally renovated and with a great gastronomic offer.
Therefore, Lucas Tejado, general manager of Bahia Principe Luxury Esmeralda, informed that since the reopening they have had “quite a lot of demand and high expectation”, both from the international and local public.
“At this stage, we have preferred to be cautious and open with a maximum occupancy of 60%, preferring not to fill the hotel from the start and gradually increase it, despite being in high season,” he added.
He explained to arecoa.com that “for the first quarter of 2024 they estimate a minimum of 80% occupancy, since it is high season for hotels in the DR”.
He explained that “with a view to offering greater comfort and convenience, the hotel’s 570 rooms have been refurbished, 20 of which are interconnected. Among its categories are Junior Suite Deluxe, Connecting JS Deluxe and as a novelty, Junior Suite Luxury rooms with swim up were added”.
He indicated that for this reason, through the Happiness sale campaign, which is launched several times a year, “we make available to our customers various attractive promotions with exclusive discounts, so we recommend everyone to be attentive to our various communication channels”.
“What Grupo Piñero seeks is that guests can perceive in each of the hotels the essence and roots of the destinations where they are located, with a view to highlighting the culture and richness of each place,” he added.
