Grupo Puntacana and its brand, Puntacana Resort & Club, will be present at the International Tourism Fair (Fitur 2024), to be held from January 24 to 28 in Madrid, Spain, showing its support for the development of tourism in the DR.
This was stated by Frank Elías Rainieri, CEO of Grupo Puntacana, when highlighting the expectations that the pioneer company in sustainable tourism in the country has about the International Tourism Fair, Fitur 2024.
“We are very happy with the participation we will have in Fitur, we are prepared and there we are going to make a big announcement of new investments that we will be making in the DR, in Punta Cana, because we continue to believe in this country,” said Frank Elías, according to Despertar Nacional.
The tourism businessman highlighted the potential of the Miches area, indicating that it has become the new jewel of Dominican tourism.
“It is a source of pride for us that other regions are developing and being part of that development, in Miches, the Hotel Zemi, comes with a luxury offer with 500 rooms, all facing the sea, which comes to find a new niche of higher level of tourism and that in this beautiful area, less than an hour from the airport of Punta Cana, it is very easy for the full development. Miches, along with all the other jewels we have, is the new one because it is the one that is being developed, where they already have two hotels under construction, three new ones will come in the coming months and that will continue to develop tourism in the DR,” said Frank Elías Rainieri.
He also congratulated the Cabinet of Tourism for reaching the goal of 10 million visitors to the country, indicating that tourism is the industry of the nation.
