The Cibao Norte region maintains the first overall position in the X National School Sports Games being held in this city, after the third day of the multidisciplinary event.
The athletes of the Cibao Norte zone have a total of 20 medals, including 6 gold, 8 silver and 6 bronze.
In second place is the Metropolitan zone, with 4 gold, 3 silver and 6 bronze medals, for a total of 13 medals.
The Northeast climbed to third position, with 4 gold, 3 silver and the same number of bronze medals (10), while Metropolitana II, with 3 first place medals, 1 second place and 5 third place (9), occupies fourth place.
Higuamo, with 8 medals, including 3 gold, 1 silver and 4 bronze, is in fifth place, while Cibao Sur, with 14 medals (2 gold, 3 silver and 9 bronze), is in sixth place overall.
In seventh place is El Valle, with 2 silver and 6 bronze medals. Meanwhile, the Southwest is in eighth place, with 1 silver and 1 bronze.
