Cuba vs. Dominican Republic in Pan American Volleyball Cup (f)

The Cuban women’s national team will face the host Dominican Republic on Monday in the first day of the 18th edition of the Pan American Volleyball Cup, which will take place in Santo Domingo.

According to the website www.norceca.net, the Cubans will open the actions against the Dominicans at the Ricardo Gioriver Arias Volleyball Pavilion, which will host six teams belonging to the Central Zone of North, Central America and the Caribbean.

The schedule announced by the organizers indicates that Cuba will play against Canada (Tuesday), Mexico (Wednesday), the United States (Thursday) and Puerto Rico (Friday), in the closing of the preliminary stage.

The matches for places five and six are scheduled for Saturday, and the crossover matches between places two and three, and one and four, for Sunday to discuss the bronze and gold medals.

The six participating teams will begin in the Dominican capital the process of qualifying for the 2023 Pan American Games in Chile and will accumulate points for the International Federation’s ranking.
