Dominican Health Tourism Association receives a copy of the “Health Plan 2030”

The Minister of Health, Daniel Rivera, presented a copy of the Health Plan 2030 (PLANDES 2030) to the Dominican Association of Health Tourism (ADTS).

The book was received by Dr. Alejandro Cambiaso, president of the ADTS, and Amelia Reyes Mora, vice-president of the ADTS and president of AF Comunicación Estratégica, during the VI International Congress on Health and Wellness.

Rivera highlighted the efforts of Cambiaso and Reyes Mora in the positioning of health tourism in the Dominican Republic.

He pointed out that, thanks to this effort, the Dominican government has taken on the issue as part of its agenda in the health and tourism sectors.

The Minister of Public Health also emphasized that in order to guarantee the permanence of health tourism and in line with the growth of tourists in the country, health centers are being built and will continue to be built in the tourist areas of the country with high quality and at the same time the Luis Eduardo Aybar Health City is being sought to be a reception center for health tourism, in addition to adapting the access roads throughout the country.
