Turizoneando campaign returns to colonial city in the DR

The Minister of Tourism of the Dominican Republic, David Collado, launched this Tuesday the new version of “Turizoneando”, a proposal of cultural activations that takes place in the Colonial City as part of the Tourism in Every Corner project.

“Today we are here again, presenting this new version of Turizoneando, a cultural proposal that has already become a tradition for those who visit the Colonial City,” said the official.

He affirmed that the Colonial City is living a splendorous moment, since it has the “best cultural and gastronomic proposal that can exist in a tourist destination”.

The project is an initiative of the Ministry of Tourism and the Santo Domingo Tourism Cluster, together with allies such as the Santo Domingo Hotel Association, ADERES and AZOCOL, while actively integrating the community.

This platform of experiences is designed with every member of the family, local and foreign visitors in mind. In addition, its purpose is to stimulate the economy of the area and create tourist and cultural attractions.

The project seeks the presence of different cultural manifestations, promoting the appreciation of history and art, characteristic of our First Lady of America.

In this year 2023, as an innovation, a web platform has been developed where you can download through a QR code so you can see all the details of the schedule of actions.

The fourth version of Turizoneando takes place from July 1 to September 3, summer option, developing various activities in different areas of the Colonial City, Saturdays and Sundays, throughout the day.

The winter version will run from November 26, 2023 to January 7, 2024. Turizoneando has developed 3 executions, with the first one in 2021.
