Sistemas Aplicativos (SISAP) presents the third edition of the Cybersecurity Conference 2024, a free program that offers virtual conferences to cybersecurity and information technology professionals.
The program will start on January 23rd and will culminate on February 13th. The conferences will take place twice a week, each day there will be one lecture. In total, 7 sessions will be given by SISAP cybersecurity professionals, who will provide information on the latest trends in technology and cybersecurity, including topics such as: real-time threat detection and the use of Artificial Intelligence.
According to Mauricio Nanne, CEO of SISAP, maintaining a strong cybersecurity posture has been progressively more difficult due to increasing geopolitical conflicts globally, and Latin America has not been exempt from these effects. “Our main goal with this conference program is to address these challenges by providing a learning space where cybersecurity professionals learn about the most effective ways to deal with these issues,” he commented.
Nanne also shared that this program has taken relevance in the information security market, so participants will be able to receive a certificate of participation effective for CPE (Continuing professional education) hours at the end of the event.
The Cybersecurity Conference 2024 will provide an overview of the main challenges that 2024 brings in terms of cybersecurity, as well as the tools that can be used to combat them.
José Amado, manager of SISAP’s Digital Identities Practice, points to the collateral effects of geopolitical conflicts, the evolution of Artificial Intelligence and supply chain attacks as some of the cybersecurity threats that will be present this 2024.
For Amado, it is important for cybersecurity professionals to arm themselves with knowledge and tools to deal with these constantly evolving threats. “The fight against cybercriminals often goes unnoticed, but it is of utmost importance for the security of both companies and individuals, so we cannot fail to improve our resources and tools to deal with these situations,” he concluded.
