The Permanent Commission of Tourism of the Senate informed that it will render a favorable report for the approval of the resolution requesting the Ministry of Tourism (Mitur) to assume the promotion of the province of San Cristóbal at the International Tourism Fair (Fitur) in Madrid, Spain, for the year 2024.
The president of the Commission, Senator Ginette Bournigal, declared that the legislators are aware of the initiative submitted by the senator for San Cristóbal, Franklin Rodríguez, aimed at having Minister David Collado disseminate at Fitur the natural and cultural benefits and the tourist destination represented by the province of San Cristóbal.
He indicated that in his initiative, Senator Rodriguez, of the People’s Force (FP), establishes that the province of San Cristobal has optimal environmental conditions for the promotion of ecotourism in the European country.
