The recovery of the tourism sector has advanced steadily since the worst moments of the Covid-19 pandemic have passed. This is how Some Latin American countries are already matching the figures they had in 2019at least in some indicators.
The most recent report was presented by analytics firm ForwardKeys, which showed that Dominican Republic tops the list of top performing global destinations between January and August 2023, with 14% more visitors compared to 2019 received by air, followed by colombia and mexico, with 5% more each.
