GILMAR group celebrates its 40th birthday in the Dominican Republic

GILMAR Consulting Inmobiliario celebrates in 2023 its first 40 years of history. Four decades adding experience, in constant search of business excellence, confirming with each client the quality of the attention and service we provide.

The founding partners of GILMAR, Soluciones Constructivas, Thirsa and Hipogesban, Manuel Marrón Fuertes and Jesús Gil Marín, have decided to celebrate this important date for the group by organizing an unforgettable one-week trip for all the employees and collaborators of the group, accompanied by a family member. In total, more than 600 people traveled to one of the best resorts in the Dominican Republic, Lopesan Costa Bávaro, in Punta Cana.

This trip has also managed to promote and develop teamwork (teambuilding), create synergies between different departments and professional teams of the different companies of the group, personal and professional motivation, and share knowledge among all to face the second half of the year with renewed energy and pride of belonging to the brand.

The GILMAR delegation was welcomed in the hotel lobby, where the managers of this spectacular resort and a show of music and typical dances of the Caribbean country were waiting for them. From that moment on, they only had two commitments, besides choosing one of the available excursions to visit the main tourist attractions of the island: a magnificent ‘white party’ on the beach and, at the end of the week, a private event that began with speeches by the company’s CEOs and general manager, who shared the company’s success with all the attendees, as well as sharing with them the main projects for the future, such as the upcoming opening of a new GILMAR Real Estate headquarters in the south of Tenerife, which will be the company’s second commercial office in the Canary Islands.

Shortly afterwards, an open-air dinner was held, which was attended as a special guest by the Vice-Minister of Quality of Tourism Services of the Dominican Republic, Roberto Henríquez. The dinner was topped off with a fireworks display and an exclusive concert by the great artist Pitingo, who flooded the Punta Cana area with a Spanish accent.

Motivation, team, commitment, professionalism, gratitude… and family. This was the main message shared by the company’s top executives, which has been deeply felt by all the sales teams and has served to return to work with renewed energy and the same enthusiasm that the founding partners had when, in 1983, they started this ‘adventure’ that has now become a benchmark of business excellence and a role model for the Spanish real estate sector.
