Grand Palladium, Spanish hotel chain, reborn with focus on Latin America

The Spanish tourism chain Grand Palladium, which operated several hotels in the Dominican Republic, has resumed operations with new projects in Europe focused on Latin America and the Caribbean.

In the Dominican Republic, the company had Fiesta Bavaro Hotels, Grand Palladium Bávaro Suites, Grand Palladium Palace, Grand Palladium Punta Cana, The Royal Suits Turquesa and the Dominican Fiesta Hotel.

The Spanish tourism press highlights this Monday that the Matutes family clan, owner of the Grand Palladium hotel chain, is accelerating its investments in Ibiza with its company Ushuaïa Entertainement in the so-called Project Bora Bora.

The firm led by Yann Pissenem, responsible for the emblematic nightlife brands Ushuaïa Ibiza and Hï Ibiza, has acquired a 33.33% stake in the company Playa Soleil Ibiza, owner of a sophisticated beach club (bar, restaurant and club), located in the heart of Playa d’en Bossa, the main tourist destination on the Mediterranean island.
