The C919, the aircraft with which Comac, the Chinese manufacturer, aspires to challenge the almighty Airbus and Boeing, made its debut a few days ago outside the borders of the Asian giant.
Its international debut was at the Singapore aviation fair, where it made an exhibition flight in search of customers outside China.
Comac’s aim is for the C919, operated for the time being only by China Eastern, to be able to compete with the successful Airbus A320 Neo and Boeing 737 Max.
