Recovery of Dominican tourism

The success story of the recovery of tourism in the Dominican Republic after the Covid-19 pandemic will be included in the educational programs of Barna Management School through an agreement signed with the Association of Hotels and Tourism of the Dominican Republic (Asonahores).

The agreement was signed at a press conference by David Llibre, president of the organization that groups Dominican hoteliers and restaurants, and Ignacio Santoni, director of BARNA, during the XXXV Asonahores Commercial Fair, which concludes this Friday, September 8, at Blue Mall, Punta Cana.

Andrés Marranzini, executive vice-president of Asonahores presented and motivated the agreement.

The agreement establishes among its objectives the realization of academic, teaching and training activities in all areas of interest to both institutions.

“The terms of collaboration will be developed in the areas of knowledge and mutual interest, and in the field of production of activities that can be done jointly as research activities, participation in seminars, courses, workshops, and other training activities, exchange of studies and publications in joint training programs,” explained Marranzini.

The agreement establishes that Asonahores assumes to place BARNA as host of the joint activities to promote among its members the academic offer, to collaborate in training its members in programs developed to the measure and to support the academic entity in the excellence scholarship program.
