The National Meteorological Office (Onamet) reported that the humid wind from the east/southeast will cause temperatures to feel slightly warm.
It indicated that an increase in humidity, mainly in the afternoon, will cause isolated showers, weak to locally moderate, towards the northeast, southeast and the Central Cordillera, in localities of provinces such as: La Altagracia, La Romana, El Seibo, Hato Mayor, San Pedro de Macorís, Monte Plata, sectors of Greater Santo Domingo, Samaná, San Cristóbal, Monseñor Nouel, La Vega, Sánchez Ramírez, María Trinidad Sánchez, among others.
He indicated that temperatures will be pleasant during the night and early morning, mainly over mountainous areas and valleys of the interior of the country, due to the time of the year.
In Greater Santo Domingo, the minimum temperature will be between 21 °C and 23 °C and the maximum between 29 °C and 31 °C.
Tuesday
He said that on Tuesday, during the early morning, isolated, weak to moderate rains will continue to occur in provinces such as: San Cristóbal, Peravia, Azua, San José de Ocoa, Barahona, Duarte, María Trinidad Sánchez, among others, which will decrease as the morning progresses, giving way to many hours of sunshine over much of the national territory, product of the anticyclonic system and a slightly warm atmosphere, due to the humid wind from the east/southeast.
Wednesday
On Wednesday, the anticyclonic system will continue to prevail, with low cloud cover and scarce rainfall, except for some isolated and weak showers towards the northeast, southeast and the Central Cordillera, due to the east wind and its interaction with the orography.
