Cayo Levantado Resort and the hotel division Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts will be the stars of the stand that Grupo Piñero will present at Fitur 2024.
With the concept “Destinations that shine, People that illuminate”, the chain has scheduled an agenda of activities that will address key issues for the tourism sector in 2024, such as the integration of Artificial Intelligence, the reinvention of destinations in crisis or the rise of luxury wellness tourism.
With Cayo Levantado Resort, there will be a Wellbeing meeting that will bring together wellness experts to analyze the latest trends in luxury wellness hotels.
Soltour will also offer a series of talks for travel agencies with experts who will address topics related to the use of Artificial Intelligence, the reinvention of destinations, the figure of the influencer in tourism marketing and the preservation of biodiversity in Samaná, DR.
Grupo Piñero, for the second year, will present its “Los Más Ecoístas” awards, which will recognize its partners and suppliers that
and suppliers who have made a great effort to add sustainability value to their activities.
The company will offer various activities linked to the culture of its different destinations around the world and will offer some Meet & Greet shows through the experience of its Bahia Principe brand, its own dance and music, its mascots for the little ones and its star shows “Matum” and “Origen” that promote the history and culture of the DR and Mexico, respectively.

Wednesday 24 at 13:00h. Panel of experts to analyze the evolution of the concept and the growing interest of luxury tourists in wellness and the trends that will mark this sector. As an example, the wellbeing program at Cayo Levantado Resort will be discussed.
Wednesday 24 12:00-13:00h. Soltour will organize different round tables under the name “Soltour Talks” on the impact of AI on the future of travel.
Thursday 25, 11:00-12:00h. The reinvention of a destination in the face of a crisis: will analyze the techniques with which, when going through crisis situations, destinations have been positioned at the forefront of tourism with the help of key players in the industry.
Friday 26, 13:00-14:00h. Will explore how Samaná, in the DR, is an example of true sustainable tourism development, respectful of the biodi versity of the destination and a sustainable strategy based on three axes: social, environmental and governance.
Friday 26, 12:00h. Second edition of the Los Más Ecoístas Awards, which will recognize those suppliers and partners who have made a great effort to incorporate sustainable actions in their activities during the last year.
