Project TransformNation, the Thirteenth International Project Management Congress PMIRD 2023

The Project Management Institute (PMI) in the Dominican Republic is leading the main initiative aimed at the growth of project managers with the Thirteenth International Project Management Congress PMIRD 2023, which will be held September 28-30 at the Hard Rock Punta Cana Hotel and will bring together more than 500 project management professionals in the country.

The 13th edition carries the main title of “Project TransformNation” and promises to be an event that will challenge professionals to be innovative leaders in the field, with a focus on achieving future sustainable results that aspire to transform the Dominican Republic and the world.

The congress will not only showcase the latest methodologies, but the future of project management, delivering results on time and on budget, making a real difference that positively transforms our macro-environment.

According to the pmi.org website, by 2030 there will be 25,000,000 project management related employees in the world.

“As we move into a future where artificial intelligence is already a present reality, the importance of interpersonal skills cannot be diminished. Project leaders will need to be able to communicate effectively,build strong relationships and lead with empathy and emotional intelligence. These skills are essential to create high-performance teams and execute projects successfully,” said Silvia Basilis, president of the PMI Dominican Republic Chapter.

The XIII International Project Management Congress will bring together in Punta Cana more than 500 professionals and executives from the public and private sectors in a high learning environment, led by prominent international and local speakers including Pablo Lledó, international author and project management professional; Ricardo Vargas, experienced leader in global operations, project management, organizational transformation and crisis management; Americo Pinto, international expert in PMO, project management and strategy; and Sebastián Lora, specialist in communication skills, trainer, author, speaker and youtuber.

This event will be sponsored by the Central Bank of the Dominican Republic, Evo Point, UTESA, Proyectum, Sagesse, Enaco, Hablan los Ingenieros, Revista Factor del Éxito, Sendiu, among others.
