With a view to updating cardiology residents on medical and pharmaceutical matters, a meeting was held with the seven schools of this specialty throughout the country.
The meeting held by Laboratorios Magnachem was attended by the president of the Dominican Society of Cardiology, Dr. Rafelina Concepción, as well as the directors of the cardiology schools.
Dr. Concepción assured that the residents of this specialty are very well prepared thanks to the advances in technology and the continuing education they receive from the laboratories.
While the marketing manager of Magnachem, Luis Michel, said that the main purpose of this event is to promote knowledge among the members that today make up the seven schools of Cardiology and at the same time, strengthen the bonds of friendship of those who will be the future Cardiologists of the Dominican Republic.
“This is a joint action, based on the scientific studies carried out by Magnachem, which will improve the quality of life of Cardiology patients through quality medicines,” he said.
Among the directors of the cardiology schools present at the event were Dr. Fulgencio Severino, Hospital Salvador B. Gautier Hospital; Dr. Cleisy Galva, Asociación Instituto Dominicano de Cardiología; Dr. Bolivar Tejada, Hospital Cabral y Baez; Dr. Carmen Encarnación, Hospital Presidente Estrella, Hospital Presidente Estrella, Hospital Presidente de la Cruz, and Dr. Carmen Encarnación, Hospital Presidente de la Cruz, among others. Carmen Encarnación, Hospital Presidente Estrella Ureña; Dr. Elaine Núñez, CEDIMAT; Dr. Franklyn Colón, Clínica Corominas; as well as Dr. Julio Cabrera, Clínica Unión Médica del Norte.
