Starting in the last four months of the year, the Dominican airline Arajet will start offering cheap flights to the Dominican Republic from different countries in South and North America, including Argentina, Brazil, Chile and Paraguay, with destination in Santo Domingo. There will also be flights to and from Canada, with increased frequencies from Mexico City and Cancun.
The low-cost airline currently has a fleet of five aircraft, but orders for another 20 Boeing 737-8MAX 200, with an average age of its aircraft of 3.9 years.

According to the company, its flights will start on the following dates:
Buenos Aires, Argentina: from November 14, 2023.
Sao Paulo, Brazil: from September 21, 2023
Santiago de Chile, Chile: from October 29, 2023
Asuncion, Paraguay: from November 5, 2023
In North America, operations will commence on these dates:
Regarding Mëxico, the airline is already operating to and from Cancun and Mexico City, but frequencies will be increased as of September 25, 2023.

Arajet’s first official flight took place on August 13, 2022, departing from Santo Domingo to Bogota, Colombia.
The plan for 2023 also includes increased frequencies to destinations it was already operating to in selected cities in Latin America and the Caribbean.
