Abinader inaugurates renovation of Santa Maria Madre de Dios Parish

President Luis Abinader inaugurated the renovation of the Santa María Madre de Dios Parish, in the Mendoza sector, executed by the Banco de Reservas.

The president said that he will always support this type of work, both Catholic and Christian churches, because what he really seeks is the presence of values throughout the national territory.

In addition, he said, they seek that the churches help in the education in values of the young people and that they become centers of the communities. “That will always be of good and support the best interests of our society. We will continue to support the presence of the churches in all our sectors and throughout our country.”

For his part, the general director of Engineering of Banco de Reservas, René González, explained that the renovation included waterproofing of the roof, adaptation of interiors, electrical installations and lighting, sanitary installations and adaptation of bathrooms, general exterior and interior painting, general and sacristy furnishings, rooms, doors and windows.

The parish priest Rudy Belén expressed his gratitude for the delivery of this work and said that it is a sign of the political will of President Abinader to deliver a dignified parish for this community. Present at the activities were the ministers of the Presidency, Joel Santos; Interim Administrative Minister of the Presidency, Igor Rodríguez; the senator for the Province of Santo Domingo, Antonio Taveras; the governor Julia Drullard; the mayor of Santo Domingo East, Manuel Jiménez; the directors of the Dominican Agrarian Institute, Francisco Guillermo García; of National Assets and the CEA, Rafael Burgos; of the National Cadastre, Héctor Mirambeaux.

Also, Dio Astacio; the deputies, Pedro Julio Alcántara, Adalgisa Abreu and Juan José Rojas; the Superintendent of Insurance, Josefa Castillo; the rector of the Instituto Técnico Superior Comunitario (ITSC), Pedro Antonio Quezada; the director of Beautification, Marcos de León and the director of Inposdom, Erick Guzmán.
