Abinader: visit of Ambassadors from different countries

President Luis Abinader received on Thursday the visit of 10 ambassadors from different countries accredited to the United Nations (UN).

Several of these diplomats are members of the UN Security Council, including Ambassador Vanessa Frazier of Malta, who is chairing the Council this April.

The delegation was received by the President in his private office at the National Palace, together with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Roberto Álvarez and the permanent Abinader Embajadores Diferentes Paisesambassador of the RD to the UN, José Blanco.

The diplomats will be in the country to see first hand the Dominican position in relation to Haiti.

Likewise, the diplomats are highly experienced in different areas of diplomacy.

The ambassadors, with experience in different fields, are the permanent representatives to the UN of Guyana, Carolyn Rodriguez-Birkett; of Bahrain, Jamal Fares Alrowaiei; of the Republic of Benin, Marc Hermanne Gninadoou Araba; of the Hellenic Republic (Greece), Evangelos Sekeris; of the Republic of Indonesia, Arrmanatha Christiawan Nasir; of the State of Kuwait, Tareq M. A. M. Albanai; from the State of Libya, Taher M. T. El-Sonni; from the Republic of Slovenia, Bostjan Malovrh; and from the Republic of Tajikistan, Jonibek Ismoil Hikmat.
