The general coordinator of the presidential pre-campaign of Dr. Francisco Domínguez Brito, Reverend Gregorio Malena affirmed that the 10-day tour of the candidate for the 2024 elections was a total success, highlighting the massive support received in all the activities carried out in several states of the northeastern United States.
Malena said that since Thursday, September 9, the first day of Domínguez Brito’s proselytizing agenda, who arrived on that date in New York, the pre-candidate was massively received by the PDP and the community in general.
Malena explained that he had visits and meetings with political personalities such as Congressman Adriano Espaillat and Councilman Ydanis Rodríguez.
“There was an outpouring of sympathy in the Dominican community in almost all the states on the East Coast of the United States,” said Malena.
Domínguez Brito exhausted an extensive 10-day agenda that took him to the states of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and Washington DC.
More than 20 activities were carried out according to the agenda, said Malena, adding that in each state there were three or more activities, with coordinators in all the places visited by Domínguez Brito.
He described as “fiestas peledeístas con Francisco”, the massive participation of the aspirant’s followers and “people are already seeing him as the sure president of the Dominican Republic in 2024”.
“In all the communities they see Francisco not as the expected messiah but they see in him the hope where the goods of the Dominican people will be respected, said the coordinator.
“In Francisco there is a confidence as a reflection of the distinguished PLD founder Professor Juan Bosch. They were 10 days of unforgettable experiences with this humble man and that everyone sees him as the attorney general whose pulse did not tremble when he was in front of justice against those who broke the law wherever they came from”, added Malena.
The activities with their respective state coordinators were full house and with great enthusiasm.
He broke down that Wilson Díaz and Álfida de la Rosa headed a grandiose activity in Philadelphia, Víctor Compres organized a big stage in New York and in the same city, the coordinator for women Mercedes Collado and for professionals Josefina Rodríguez, carried out a massive act in support of the pre-candidate.
She explained that in Lawrence (Massachusetts) Belkys Gray and Claudio Perez organized a brilliant activity, while in Washington DC, Francisco Cruz and Rafael Santana with the collaboration of Reverend Carlos Geronimo Pagan, demonstrated the great support that Dominguez Brito has in the capital of the United States.
Malena exhorted all the peledeístas and the Dominican community to maintain the massive support to Domínguez Brito until he is elected president in 2024.
The candidate’s tour concluded on Monday, September 20.
