Cap Cana announces US$500 million Juanillo Village tourism project

Cap Cana has announced during the Fitur 2024 tourism fair, the realization of a hotel project that will represent an investment of more than US$500 million, which will be located in the beach resort of Juanillo.

Juanillo Village will consist of 22 lots to be developed in different phases, designed for boutique hotels, condo hotels, apartments, an extensive commercial area and beach clubs, which will begin development in 2024.

The consortium explained that the project will offer an unparalleled experience with a commercial promenade where restaurants, art galleries, stores, boutiques and entertainment areas will coexist in a single space, ideal for vacationing with a different lifestyle next to the beach, and five minutes from the new and second golf course Las Iguanas of Jack Nicklaus’ signature, currently under construction.

They also indicated that Juanillo Village will have a very different concept to those seen so far in the DR, with some 1,000 apartment units, and with a capacity of 30 to 40 commercial premises.

The announcement of this investment was made by the executive president of Cap Cana, Jorge Subero Medina, together with the Minister of Tourism, David Collado, and the commercial and marketing director, Noribel Medina.
