Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts to add new characters

Karisma Hotels & Resorts’ two Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts in Riviera Maya and Punta Cana will increase the number of characters to children’s programming and with them both properties will offer the most characters for children to interact with, with all-new seasonal programming and characters.

It features a total of 29 cartoons.

Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Riviera Maya will add several new characters to its resort at the end of March, including Tommy and Chuckie from Rugrats, and a new PAW Patrol character, Rubble. The resort offers the most PAW Patrol characters ever.

At Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana, travelers will enjoy the launch of the Snick Lounge, a 1990s-inspired lounge, and The Sweetery, designed for both coffee and ice cream lovers. The two new offerings are part of a broader renovation of the resort.

Both resorts will also offer a selection of seasonal character programs. From March 1 through April 30, guests at either resort will enjoy Slime Break Getaway, which includes themed events, Nikelodeon Hotelsexclusive food and pop-up activities at Club Nick and Slime. Easter-themed offerings will also be available.

Summer travelers heading to any of the resorts May 24 through Sept. 3 can enjoy SpongeBob Summer, diving into Bikini Bottom with scavenger hunts, themed events, performances, SpongeBob screenings and more.

While the big kids head back to school, travelers with little ones can enjoy the Nick Jr. Friends event Sept. 4 through Nov. 2. Characters from Nick Jr, PAW Patrol, Blue’s Clues & You!, Dora the Explorer, Shimmer and Shine and Santiago of the Seas offer plenty of fun for little travelers.

The second annual Food & Slime festival will be held Nov. 3-30 this year. The food festival features slime-inspired food, characters, beach parties, themed nights, live concerts and more.

Finally, travelers heading to any of the resorts for the winter vacations will enjoy the Nick Holiday Extravaganza, which will begin Dec. 1 and end Jan. 14. Seasonal offerings include holiday-themed dinners, events, fireworks, parties, Santa visits and more.
