The Ágape business group celebrated this Saturday the opening in the Dominican Republic of the first location of the famous American fast food restaurant “Popeyes Chicken”, on Winston Churchill Avenue, and next Friday it will open in the Sambil Plaza.
According to businessman Manuel Corripio, the news of the introduction of the traditional Louisiana chicken to the country thrilled Internet users, who are fans of it, and has generated more than 250 new jobs in the group of 5 franchises managed by Agape.
Corripio celebrated that the opening of this chain in particular, in the national territory, is not only a good investment in relation to employment generation opportunities, but also provides an environment for the consumer to reap pleasant experiences.
“Our commitment is to be faithful to the brand, to its values, to the quality of the product, and the part that touches us is to be able to provide all the people who visit our establishment with impeccable service accompanied by the best product and that this is a pleasant and memorable experience,” he said, accompanied by the CEO of Agape, Isabel Turull.
For his part, Turull, in front of dozens of guests and consumers waiting outside the establishment, enthusiastically expressed a message of gratitude to each person who made possible the arrival of Popeyes in the Dominican Republic.
“Bringing this new brand to the country is the result of the excellent work done by our team. We are happy that Dominicans can finally taste the most loved chicken in the world,” she said.
In addition, the businesswoman said that this chain, originally from New Orleans, will provide customers with the best service of breaded and battered chicken.
