Sedofútbol Femenina kicks off the road to the 2024 Gold Cup

The Dominican Women’s National Team will meet this Monday in Delaware, United States to prepare for its first two matches on the road to the CONCACAF Gold Cup 2024 against Bermuda away on September 22 and at home against Barbados four days later.

The national team will be working until September 21 at the Delaware Union’s Middletown Village Fields and will leave for Bermuda for the match the following day.

On September 23, the Sedofútbol Femenina is scheduled to travel to Santo Domingo to fine-tune details for its match against Barbados on Tuesday, September 26 at the Estadio Olimpico Felix Sanchez starting at 7:00 pm.

The call-up of national coach Henry Parra for this window of double official commitments is composed of goalkeepers: Mirda Minyeti (Club 5 de Abril – DR), Odaliana Gómez (University of Delaware – USA) and Nathalie Martínez (Atlántico FC – DR).

The defenders: Lynette Ureña (Stoke City – USA), Keisla Gil (Central Methodist University – USA), Nadia Colón (UT Rio Grande Valley University – USA), Brianne Reed (USA), Yomerci Brito (Club 5 de Abril – DR), Paola Then (St. Mary’s University – USA) and Gabriella Cuevas – USA).

The midfielders are: Jazlyn Moya (Eagles Foundation – DR), Kharina Díaz (Club 5 de Abril – DR), Liliane Clase (Angelina College – USA), Emma Ostropolsky (Eagles Foundation – DR), Winibian Peralta (Municipal Pérez Zeledón – Costa Rica) and Jaylen Vallecillo (East Meadow Soccer Club – USA).

Finally, up front, Sedofútbol will have María Torreira (Eagles Foundation – DR), Lucía Marte (Watford – England), Vanessa Kara (USA), Cheila Acosta (Bob Soccer School – DR), Alyssa Oviedo (University of Vermont – USA) and Claudia Alcántara (Eagles Foundation – DR).
