Martín de Oliva: “We are evaluating new projects that will boost tourism even more”

Juan Manuel Martín de Oliva, vice president of Tourism Businesses of Banco Popular, indicated that the bank is evaluating a large number of projects that will further boost the country’s tourism industry, and “we will continue to make great strides as we have been doing so far”.

“We continue to have a great streak of foreign investment, well above what we had in years before the pandemic,” the executive of the leading bank in financing tourism projects in the DR told arecoa.com.

He added that it is a record that the country will reach the goal of 10 million visitors by the end of 2023.

He explained that “the Dominican Republic continues to be fashionable, fashion passes, but I am sure that in the country it will not pass for now, if we continue working as we have been doing so far with the alliance of the public-private sector”.
