Tourism companies called to participate in workshops

To give continuity to the training workshops aimed at SMEs in the tourism sector, the Ministry of Tourism is organizing a series of virtual digitalization workshops and one in person, in order to contribute to the degree of digital maturity and the latest developments in the world of technology.

This program of workshops aimed at these companies both in Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic is organized within the framework of the Digital Transformation program for SMEs in the tourism sector in Latin America and the Caribbean.

These trainings will provide the skills and tools to provide greater competitiveness to these businesses in the digital era.

They will start on Tuesday, September 19 from 9:00 a.m. Costa Rica and 11:00 a.m. Dominican Republic and on different dates throughout the remainder of this year 2023.

They will continue with the virtual workshop “Digital Marketing Strategy”, followed by the workshop “Data analytics and data-driven decision making”, to be held on October 3.

Meanwhile, the in-person workshop, aimed at companies in the sector is entitled “Challenges of the tourism sector, how do we address them from digitalization?” which will be held at the MITUR facilities on October 16, Monday, from 8:00 to 13:00.

FREE SELF-DIAGNOSIS OF DIGITAL MATURITY FOR TOURISM COMPANIES

Similarly, companies in the sector are invited to participate in the Digital Maturity Self-diagnosis questionnaire, which addresses six key areas of digital transformation in the tourism sector.
