The Vice President of the Republic, Raquel Peña, indicated that “the growth that the country has shown in recent years has been fundamental to the tourism sector”.
She pointed out that for the Government to boost the economy it has also been key to work together with the various sectors of society through a model of collaboration between the State, private companies, academia and civil society.
In this sense, she assured that the Government has focused on promoting complementary financing, entrepreneurship, especially by women and young people, in non-conventional areas and tools that favor trade.
These statements were made by the Vice President during her participation in the Annual Forum of the World Economic Forum, held in Davos, Switzerland.
