Copa returns to Santiago de los Caballeros with 3 flights per week

As arecoa.com had anticipated, Copa Airlines will resume flights between Panama City and Santiago de los Caballeros as of April 2, 2024, becoming the third destination operated by the airline in the Dominican Republic, together with Santo Domingo and Punta Cana (Copa CEO: “We have on our radar to reactivate flights to Santiago”).

The airline will operate three weekly flights (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) in Boeing 737-700 aircraft with capacity for 126 passengers, and with fares starting at US$340 round trip (taxes included).

Flights will depart Panama at 11:39 a.m., arriving in Santiago de los Caballeros at 3:10 p.m. (local time). From Cibao International Airport they will take off at 16:01, landing in Tocumen at 17:47 (local time).

Sales for these flights are already available through copaair.com. Copa’s idea is to increase frequencies between both destinations in the short term, thus boosting tourism in the Cibao region.
