Universal Aviation inaugurates new “Al Fresco” space at La Isabela airport

Universal Aviation, together with Arturo Fuente Cigars and Casa Brugal, inaugurated its new Al Fresco space, located in the gardens of the executive flight terminal of La Isabela International Airport, as part of the continuous improvements that reaffirm the world-class positioning of this air terminal.

Danilo Rosario Jimenez, director of Universal Aviation in the country, said that “since we took over the management of this terminal we set out to raise the user experience to levels never before known in the country, incorporating, in addition to the award-winning assistance, exclusive concierge services, valet parking, coffee barista, buffet and signature menu for air catering, covered luggage carts, mini van transfers to the aircraft, as well as high-speed internet on the ramp.”

“Today we are pleased to leave in operation this new space that will allow our valued users to enjoy an excellent cigar or an exceptional rum before departure or upon arrival at the terminal,” he said.

Sergio Mourelle, General Manager of Arturo Fuente Cigar Club, said that, “we have witnessed the transformation of this terminal under the care of Universal Aviation, which is why today, with enthusiasm, we are present in this new Al Fresco space where you can enjoy our award-winning cigars and select, for your trip, the one of your choice in the humidor we have installed inside the terminal”.

Meanwhile, Jonathan Paladino, brand Ambassador of Casa Brugal, led the tasting of Brugal 1888, which will be present, along with other exceptional labels of the iconic brand, in the new space, as well as in the terminal, available for sale.

The inaugural event was also attended by William Phelan, president of Tropicalia, Fernando Pelaez, advertising manager of Aerodom, Carolina de Marco, Cigar Master and Amber Rosario, sales executive of Arturo Fuente Cigars, Manuel Casasnovas, director of operations of Sky Cana, among other clients and special guests.

Universal Aviation operates ground handling services at Las Americas (AILA), La Romana, Punta Cana, Puerto Plata, Samana and Santiago airports.
