Digital marketing trends: Ride the wave and take your business to the next level

We are going through the third month of 2021, so it is time to measure results and evaluate strategies, if something has been demonstrated to us is that companies must have an online presence.

However, it is not enough to have a nice profile, the way to connect with your customers and followers changes, this is something that companies must be clear about. For this reason, it is necessary to know the trends that will help you optimize your results.

1- Video marketing. Using videos has become one of the most important trends in social networks. The numbers speak for themselves: 70% of users say they have shared a brand’s video; 72% of companies say it has allowed them to improve their conversion rate, and 52% of consumers say that watching product audiovisuals gives them more confidence in online purchasing decisions.

Integrate Instagram Reels into your advertising strategy. If you are a personal brand, use video for a face-to-face with your followers, and if you are a product, use them to explain and share testimonials. Remember that people trust the experiences of other people who have their same needs and they were covered.

2- Podcasts. Because of its characteristics, the podcast is the perfect method to streamline and easily digest content. For this reason, more and more brands are riding the wave of creating weekly episodes for their followers.
One of its main advantages is that brands can be present at any time in people’s lives. A gym can give expert advice when users are doing their routine. An insurance company can offer care or driving tips when the driver is behind the wheel. The options are endless, the limit is creativity and the resources are quite wide: interviews, playlists, special productions, reviews, chronicles, courses, among others.

3- Interactive Content. 91% of users prefer to follow accounts that show interactive content, i.e. 360 videos, word games, virtual reality and fun brand filters.

Play with your feed! Experiment with your brand’s color palette, ask users what they want to see, don’t be afraid, remember: interactive content is more engaging, memorable and more likely to generate the results your company needs.

4- Omnichannel marketing. This is the process of marketing on multiple platforms, such as social networks, apps, email and blogs, so that you connect with potential customers at more touch points.

When you get omnichannel marketing right, you deliver an enhanced user experience and a consistent brand message that drives people to act, interact and buy.

The first thing to know is which social networks my company should be on, then have a blog or website that allows you to generate leads and then get to know your audience and make the most of the channels and your content.
