Arajet now connects Santo Domingo with Curaçao

Arajet, the Dominican airline promoted as a low-fare airline, landed yesterday for the first time at the Curaçao International Airport, starting a direct route with two weekly frequencies that will connect the Dominican Republic with the “heart” of the Caribbean.
Curaçao’s Minister of Economic Development, Ruisandro Cijntje, pointed out that “the arrival of Arajet to Curaçao starts a new era of low prices for tourism and business in the region”.

In a press release, Arajet indicated that the Curaçao International Airport is considered one of the key air connectivity centers in the Caribbean, derived from a wide offer of international flights to Europe and the United States, which represent for the airline “a valuable opportunity to connect more people, stimulate the air and tourist offer between Santo Domingo and Willemstad, strengthen cooperation ties and create a bridge that allows the communication and transportation of travelers”.

Arajet’s two weekly frequencies to Curaçao offer flights departing from Santo Domingo on Thursdays at 11:40 hrs and arriving at 13:00 hrs to Curaçao; and departing at 13:45 hrs from Curaçao and arriving at 15:10 hrs to Santo Domingo.

On Sundays, the airline offers flights departing at 12:50 hrs from Santo Domingo and arriving at 14:10 hrs to Curaçao, and from Curaçao to Santo Domingo departing at 14:55 hrs and arriving at 16:20 hrs.
