Aeroflot to start flights to the Dominican Republic on October 1

Russian airline Aeroflot announced today that it will start flights to the resort of Punta Cana, in the Dominican Republic, as of October 1.

Moscow-Punta Cana-Moscow flights will be operated by Airbus A350-900s three times a week on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, the airline said.

Russia’s operational center for the Covid-19 confrontation suspended all restrictions on air traffic with the Caribbean nation at the end of August. Charter airline Azur Air also operates flights to the country.
