Two Wheels in Paradise” film project to showcase Dominican Republic presented

TWIP Productions presented the film project “Two Wheels in Paradise: Hispaniola” (TWIP), a documentary for international distribution that will showcase the unparalleled beauty of the Dominican Republic, its geography, tourism, landscapes, culture, history, gastronomy, music and people.

The cocktail party was attended by Robert Cooper, creator of TWIP; Alexandra Guerrero, producer of TWIP, accompanied by the famed Swiss director and filmmaker Claudio von Planta, film director and character of the project, who came to the country exclusively for the official presentation of the project.

Two Wheels in Paradise: Hispaniola” (TWIP) to be filmed in the Dominican Republic in 2022, during 7 weeks of shooting, will be presented in English and Spanish, with a duration of 120 minutes. In an unparalleled 40-day journey, four middle-aged characters will explore every corner of the country on motorcycles, showing through their eyes the great diversity of the different cities and their tourist attractions. The cast includes Gevin Fax, Bob Hite, Claudio Von Planta and Robert Cooper and will be narrated by Sergio Carlo.

Robert Cooper, an American who has lived in the country for more than a decade, said that the nature of this film project is “to show through this great adventure in Quisqueya, the riches and wonderful scenery that the Dominican Republic has, with a different concept, ensuring that millions of television viewers around the world can get to know and appreciate it through the various adventures and activities of our protagonists”.

Alexandra Guerrero expressed that “this filming and its international projection will have an important impact on our Tourism Country Brand, promoting the experience of exploring all that we offer, with an incomparable dynamic, through the adventures in motors.”

Two Wheels in Paradise: Hispaniola will showcase, in a unique visual way, places like Jarabacoa, Manabao, Moca, Cabrera, Pedernales, Bahía de las Águilas, Nagua, Samaná, Monte Plata, Juan Dolio, Hato Mayor, Los Haitises, Miches, Boca de Yuma, Macao, La Romana, Santo Domingo, Santiago, Cabarete, Puerto Plata, Maimón, Monte Cristi,Dajabón, San Juan, Barahona, San José de Ocoa, San Cristóbal, Bonao, Constanza, among others. The series will also motivate viewers to live every moment of their lives with enthusiasm.
